We will examine the parts of speech which are usually stressed and unstressed in English. The lesson includes a video explanation of the topic and 5 exercises: 2 for understanding the context and presenting the topic of word stress, and 3 for practice.
Lesson 2. Intonation in different types of sentences
We will learn the difference in intonation between the different types of sentences: statements and questions. The lesson includes a video dialogue demonstrating intonation in various types of sentences, a video explanation of the topic, and 6 exercises for further practice.
Lesson 3. Intonation in tag questions
We will take a closer look at tag questions, where intonation is crucial. The lesson includes an audio dialogue demonstrating different intonations, a video explanation of the topic, 3 exercises for analyzing the differences in intonation, and 3 exercises for further practice.
Lesson 4. Echo questions
Echo questions help you sound engaged in any conversation. The lesson includes two video explanations of the topic, 2 exercises for analyzing the features of echo questions, and 4 practical exercises.
Revision
